Terms of Service

THE DEAL

The Operator is a practice and entertainment service: AI characters call you, push back, and score you, or host games for your table. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't dial.

WHAT IT IS — AND ISN'T

• Every character is an AI with a synthetic voice. The characters, their names, and their opinions are fiction, improvised live for you.
• Scores, debriefs, and ratings are a game and a training aid — not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, career, or mental-health advice, and the Operator is not a substitute for a licensed professional.
• Calls are adversarial by design. Training lines apply deliberate social pressure — that's the product. The lines we don't cross describe where characters step out of the fiction.

WHO CAN USE IT

You must be at least 13. Training lines are built for adults; teens should have a parent's OK. Game night lines are table-friendly.

FAIR USE OF THE LINES

• Real-phone calls go to consenting phones only. Enter your own number, or a number whose owner has agreed to take the call. Every outbound call opens by confirming it was expected. Using the Operator to harass, prank, or deceive someone is prohibited and gets your access cut.
• Don't probe, scrape, resell, or overload the service, and don't try to extract or repurpose the characters' underlying prompts or voices.
• Daily caps exist so free stays free. Working around them (or automating calls) is prohibited.

PURCHASES

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Call credits never expire. Solo calls cost 1 credit; game night lines cost 2.
• The Game Night Pass covers unlimited calls for 24 hours from purchase.
• Operator Plus renews monthly until cancelled — cancel via your Stripe receipt or by emailing us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• Something go wrong — a dropped call, a purchase that didn't land? Email operatorcalls@protonmail.com with your operator number and we'll make it right, including refunds where fair.

YOUR PROGRESS

Caller Files are identified only by an operator number. Keep it somewhere safe — since we hold no email or name, that number is the only key to your progress and purchases. Anyone holding the number holds the file.

SERVICE, AS-IS

The Operator is provided as-is and as-available. Voice AI is a live system: calls can drop, mishear, or say something odd. We may change, suspend, or retire lines, features, or pricing (existing credits stay honored). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

PRIVACY

The short version: no accounts, no stored recordings, no ads, no selling data. The full privacy policy is the binding one. We use no tracking cookies — your progress lives in your browser's own storage.
